Flowers

Digital painting of some clusters of small white and blue flowers.
  • this kind of foliage layering requires waaaay more patience and skill than i have
  • i’ve painted very few organic shapes this month and it’s really challenging! trying to capture the vibe rather than replicating the reference (relevant to every painting but feeling it especially so here)
  • it was fun to do the layers though, with the flowers farther back fading into the background. an exercise in picking colours and composing it in a way to give it dimensionality
