Gardening
It’s gardening season!! This year, I’m growing:
- Cherry tomatoes (hoping birds don’t eat these before I can)
- Lettuce
- Green onions
- Spinach
- Arugula
- Vietnamese coriander (rau ram)
- Thai basil (rau quế)
Also some flowers! And I bought a monstera yesterday.
Games
Destiny 2
I thought my Destiny lull would last all the way until the expansion in a few days, but it turns out a limited-time event is enough to drag me back and I’ve spent an embarrassing number of hours playing in the last two weeks. I grinded my way through Pantheon weeks 2 and 3, and did 3/8 encounters in week 4, but have now officially given up 🫡 The Final Shape, I am ready for you!!!
Tiny Glade
I’ve been excited for this ever since I saw the WIP videos the devs would post on Twitter last year. The free demo is out now and it’s very beautiful as expected.
Misc. want to play
Final Fantasy VII (yeah, yeah, I bought a fanzine for this but I’ve never actually played it), ANIMAL WELL (which I’m hearing universally good things about), and I wishlisted some cute games in Steam’s Cozy & Family Friendly collection.
Concert
I went to see Glass Beams perform:
Northern lights
I’m going to XOXO in Portland in August! Would love to meet you if you’re going? Is there an indieweb meetup? Someone tell me how this works.
